we spent 2 days in bandung, then its back to jakarta on sunday night. we played, monopoly again! haha. after watching sweeny todd that it. as much as i like the actor, i think the movie is rather gruesome. monday was spent going to my uncle's friend's house to watch the kambings being slaughtered. i have never seen the slaughtering before so i have to say, it was a first. the kambings, again, were different from the ones i normally see in singapore. this time, it was my dad who took the pictures .

Tuesday came, the highlight of the trip. we watched TWILIGHT. hahaha. sad to say, it didnt meet my expectations, having read the book form cover to cover numerous times. for those who dont want to read the spoiler, its best not to read this part. im not disappointed that they got robert pattison to play edward, he does look like a fabulous looking vampire, and somehow he seems to portray edward like i thought edward should be. but the other character? gosh. dont get me wrong, i think the whole cullen family is perfect, but the others? Jacob looking like that? erm, totally unexpected. Mike was goodlooking though, and so was eric. but jessica, well she looked slutty in the prom dress. hahaha. and what about the good parts of the story, where edward will drive bella to school and ask her all those questions? nada, not even in the movie. and what about the part where bella is the one who cooks for charlie? nope, instead they went to eat outside, not at home. the part where carlisle told the story of the volturi to bella, was alsio missing. ahh. and the part in the ballet studio, different form expected. nevertheless, i guess it wasnt that bad, good to those who didnt read the book. the spidermonkey part was cute.

quite a no. of people turned up for the movie. this irritating couple sat right next to cousin, and the irritaing thing was that they kept yakking throughout the movie. the movie is in english but the subtitles were in bahasa indonesia. i guess they didnt understand english much cause they kept repeating the subtitles. and since the subtitles came on a few seconds before the actors spoke, they were trying to GUESS the english words. weird. But, overall, the movie wasnt that bad. I still like twilight =)) and i still love edward =))

we walked around PIM after that. got myself a bag and my dad sponsored half of my book. haha. went to the surfer shop and no wonder cousin likes going there. *winkwink* hahah.

we headed home and got ready to leave at 6.30. the match was to start at 7.30 so we left early incase of traffic jams which is common. by the time we reached there, it was already 7.30. so we hurried to join this crowd but soon found out that it was another part of the stadium. the crowd we were with was actually going to watch a concert! lol. so we had to hurry to another direction and by the time we reached the steps, we could hear the national anthem. it was starting! we actually got vvip tickets, since cousin in law was in the team, on the bench actually, so we got to sit near the players though not able to see the whole field clearly. it was kindda scary, being surrounded by indonesian fans all around. we didnt bring our belongings because uncle said it was dangerous. apparently, the fans can be worse than the english hooligans we learnt in gp. and indeed, it was scary. but, baihakki scored the first goal in like 2 min plus and me and cousin couldnt help but applaud loudly. a few other supporters glared at us. it was in the2nd half, when jiayi scored the second goal that both me and cousin sprang up, cheering loudly. who cared that we were surrounded by indonesian fans all around, we were too happy cause we were leading! uncle laughed and said it was dangerous to have brought us, the fans now knew that we were rooting for singapore. the whole game was tense, with loud supporters around, and a few close calls. nearing the end of the game, some fans on the other side started playing with mini firworks. seriously, fireworks. it was like so dangerous! watched the encore yesterday on tv, couldnt see the fireworks, but they could be heard, definitely. sheesh. the game ended with singapore scoring 2, indonesia nil. we were like so freaking happy that we stood up cheering for the team. the team was about to go off the fireld when me and cousin, already standing, and on impluse, we both shouted baihakki! hahaha. seriously, i donno what came onto us, being surrounded by indonesian fans all around, glaring at us, but we were just so elated and baihakki really played well in that game. the thing was, he heard us! and he was like looking around to see who called out. he saw us, and ... waved!!! hahahaha. so happy. cousin-in-law was someplace behind baihakki and he gave us a thumbs up. haha. so cool! we went home feeling happy that we shouted his name and that he acknowledged us! hahaha.

alas, the next day was the day we had to go home. the trip had been fun,but i guess its now time to go back to normal life. (

the last post was like eons ago, about the zoo. and till now, no pictures are obtained cause I'm lazy to wait for the freaking sharing folder to download everything. oh well. since that particular outing, have been going out with them almost everyday. hehe. we went for our first 'interview' last Tues., and celebrated shikeen's birthday on thursday. just happy that she's happy with the bag. hahaha. it took us ages to figure out what to buy for her =))
